The Canine TouchDynamic body balancing for Dogs The Canine Touch was developed by Dr Ivana Ruddock. Although very similar to those of The Equine Touch, the procedures differ to some degree taking into consideration the physiological and bio-mechanical differences as well as the behavioural and emotional identity traits differences between the species.
We are pleased to announce that the Canine Touch now has two routes of study: 1. The dog owner’s study path, allowing you to use Canine Touch on your own dogs and those of your friends 2. A fully structured professional track to lead you to Practitioner Diploma status (appropriate insurance cover confirmed). Whilst the choice of route is down to each individual student, the Practitioner Track is a valuable addition to the tool box for both Equine and Canine Professionals, as well as being an educationally recognised stand-alone modality. Although the course is now available for any interested person, dog lover or professional alike, the courses in the UK are infrequent (they usually run twice a year) as there are no qualified instructors other than Jock and Ivana Ruddock. Ivana Ruddock will be teaching a Module 2 class on June 18th and 19th, at Homeway Farm, Glastonbury, Somerset.
